COMPanion is pleased to announce the release of KeepnTrack 2.80.4 on February 14, 2016. This is a major update offering improved performance, reliability, and new features.

• Attended Kiosk. Your KeepnTrack Attended Kiosk has a new look that includes a Spanish language option. The layout matches the recent updates to the Self-Service and Express kiosks, presenting a clear, touchscreen-ready workflow.

• Sex Offender Registry (SOR) Window. Process possible SOR matches in any order, or cancel the sign in entirely from that window. Security enhancements ensure that if a decision has not been made on a possible SO check, that person will be left in a ‘pending’ status and can not sign in.

• Group Email. Send emails to a selected group of people right through KeepnTrack! Email your volunteers about an event, or inform your visitors about limited parking. Access this new feature in your Utilities, under the People category. Note that your person records must have emails for this utility to work.

Special Considerations

• Due to changes in the web interface architecture it may be necessary for users to clear their browser cache and recreate new bookmarks for commonly used modules before using KeepnTrack. If you do not do this, some pages may not load correctly or they may appear to load but not function as expected!

• Due to changes in the kiosk layout, it may be necessary to reprogram your scanners. Updated Installation Guides an be found on the Support Center.

Improvements

Kiosk

• Added a preference allowing users to enable or disable the language selection options.

• SMS and Email alerts now contain the kiosk name and IP Address which can be helpful in determining where an alert originated.

• The Birthdate field is now labeled as optional unless it is required.

• A back button has been added in the Express Kiosk.

People Management

• To eliminate confusion, the 'Visitor' classification checkbox has been removed from the person record. Since 2.80.2, ALL people in the system are eligible to be visitors at any facility under the account and a person record will always be created for anyone who visits that does not already have one.

Reports

• The People Here Today report now shows additional information including Home Phone, Mobile Phone, and email address.

• Criminal Background Check report now supports facility selections. CBC's are performed against people from an account level; however, if a person is associated with the selected facility they will be included on the report. This is useful for narrowing the report to include only people associated with a particular facility.

• Implemented a Person Counts report that will generate a summary of the number of people assigned to each classification for all facilities in the account.
