On the first tab and all subsequent tabs, the Operator has the ability to either Approve or Reject the Volunteer Application. This determination should be made once all the pertinent information, including CBC and SOR reports have been either run or reviewed.
If the Volunteer Applicant has failed their background check and the Operator clicks on Reject Application they will the be presented with an alert dialogue in which they must decide whether to either Reject Application or Reject and Deny Access.
Once this decision has been made, the Operator will be presented with a Rejection Notification screen.
Enter custom text to be sent to:—Here the Operator can select either the Volunteer, Facility Administrator or both.Notification Email Text:—Whatever text is entered here will be sent as an email.
If the Volunteer Applicant has failed their background check and the Operator clicks on Approve Application they will be presented with an alert dialogue, essentially verifying that the Operator does in fact want to Approve an Applicant that has failed the background check.
Selecting Cancel will not reject the application, but rather take the Operator back to the initial screen. Selecting Approve however, will approve the application. NOTE: If the Background Check Status is checked in the Checks tab, the application can not be approved until the Applicant either passes a CBC or until this option is unchecked.
In the event the Applicant has passed his CBC and is Approved, a New Person record will be created and this Applicant will become a Volunteer.
