Do you have any student aides helping you with inventory? If that’s the plan, you need to make sure they have the correct Security Group settings to use the Inventory module.

Open Preferences and go to Security. Select the Security Group, e.g. Student Aide. You can modify this group, or, if you don’t want all student aides to have access, duplicate the group.

Then in the Tools tab, set Inventory to Perform.

Note that access to Inventory gives the student aide access to run inventory reports and utilities, and access Operation Management from the Inventory module.
