Highlights

This little release has some changes to prepare for the Makeover and new utility options.

Reset Patron Account utility. Yep! Now you can reset your patrons’ usernames and passwords at the same time.

Change Title Call Numbers and Change Copy Call Numbers utilities. The twelve call number utilities have now been consolidated into two. Modify prefixes, change case, remove slashes, and match call numbers all in one place for titles and all in one place for copies!

New Librarian sidenav. We have some new icons in the sidenav along with faster access to Preferences and Operations.

Important

If you self-host on a Mac, hold off updating to macOS 10.15 Catalina. Alexandria may be 64-bit compatible in an upcoming release.

Import

Added the Title ID only and ISBN only Title Matching options for Textbook imports.

Librarian

Changed the sidenav to include links to Circulation, Items, Patrons, Operations, Tools, Researcher, and Preferences.

Patrons

Moved the Email field from the Personal tab to the Contact tab of patron records.

System

Improved performance and reliability.

Utilities

Added the Reset Patron Account utility, which allows you to reset patron usernames and passwords at the same time.

Added the Change Title Call Numbers utility, which consolidates the six title call number utilities into one.

Added the Change Copy Call Numbers utility, which consolidates the six copy call number utilities into one.
