If the import file is recognized, Textbook Tracker will automatically sort, organize, and match the information to the correct, specified fields. Relationships between fields and attributes of different names and types may not match and will have to be mapped. For example, if the import file is missing a header, it will not be recognized.
To improve the accuracy of your import, label the columns in your import file to match Textbook Tracker fields. When importing data from outside sources, Textbook Tracker will map the fields as correctly as possible. Because relationships between fields and may not be recognized, it's important that you fine-tune the mapping before running the import. In the Field Mapping dialog, specify where to import the data by mapping the fields in your database to the fields in the source data you’re importing.
In the Field Mapping dialog, data from the import file is shown on the left-hand of the window while Textbook Tracker field names are shown on the right-hand side.
Data is imported in sequential order. Select a field, then use these controls to organize it. Click the check mark in a field to exclude it from the import.
Move the field up or down to correctly align the fields in the import file.
This field will be included in your import. Click this icon in the field to exclude it from the import, or

When you've finished matching Textbook Tracker fields to the information in your file, click Set.
