Highlights

The Unpaid Charges Notice report is now available in Textbook Tracker. Librarians and teachers can run this report to get notices for students in a particular group or class who have unpaid charges. They can create some saved reports that automatically send out this notice (print or email).

New & Improved

Textbooks

• Textbook Tracker now allows item barcodes to end in alpha characters. Please refer to the Barcode Guidelines tab on the Barcode Your Collection page. 

Self Service

• Previously, the settings of our Self Service kiosks could only be changed by the librarian that opened it without logging completely out and back in again. Now any library worker with the security access can change the settings by entering their credentials into the password dialog. If you log in to Self Service IN, and later a different librarian or student aide wants to change it to Self Service OUT, they can now put in their own credentials to change these settings. The styling on the password window has also been updated!

Fixed

Items

• Alexandria does some nice validation with your MARC tags… and it really didn’t like it when you entered 650 xx or yy subtags with a different subtag between them. In general, maybe… don’t do that… but now at least Alexandria is ok with it.

Sites

• There were some issues when manually removing a site from Sites Management. We’ve fixed these issues, but still encourage you to speak with Customer Support before removing a site in Alexandria/Textbook Tracker.

Circulation

• Transaction Scripts are super useful. …But it’s hard to tell what exactly happened unless we give you a nice summary file when it’s finished. That wasn’t working before, but now it is!

Makeover

• Our Makeover interfaces such as Items and Preferences now load correctly on smaller-sized browsers! Check it out.
