DirectMARC is an optional Alexandria integration. Contact our Sales Team if you're interested in adding it to your library!
When you order from Gumdrop Books™ or directly from any of Mitinet’s exclusive vendors, Alexandria’s DirectMARC, powered by Mitinet, provides you the option to have your MARC records automatically imported into Alexandria! All you have to do is turn ON the feature in Alexandria by going to Preferences > Services > DirectMARC, then click Link Account and follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate DirectMARC with your Alexandria account.
Exclusive Mitinet vendors include Gumdrop Books, Lightbox, AV2, Bellwether Media and many more!
Settings tab
- Authenticate. Click Link Account to link your MCS account.
- You will get a license from us, or this service may already by included in your registered license. If so, go to this form and fill it out to get the linking code emailed from Mitinet.
You can check if you are registered for DirectMARC by going to DirectMARC in Preferences and clicking the On toggle.
- Import. Set the default notification email and policies of new item imports.

Under the Contact tab, you may fill out contact information for your Mitinet representative.
