Interested in getting BestMARC for your library? Here's what you'll need to do!
- Contact Alexandria's Sales Team to add BestMARC to your license. You'll receive an email from us confirming your registration.
- Contact Mitinet so they can prepare your files.

Who should I contact for technical support?
Questions about imports should be directed to COMPanion Customer Support, and questions about orders, MARC record quality, or any other MARC information should be directed to Mitinet.
BestMARC
Preferences > Services > BestMARC
SYSTEM Preference
Preferences and Tools
Enable BestMARC. When enabled, BestMARC will show in the Vendors dropdown menu in the Current Item pane of Circulation, and the BestMARC operations will be available in Utilities.
Vendor URL. This field contains BestMARC's current web address and is used mainly for reference.
Operations. Run the Mitinet AnalyzeMARC and Mitinet BestMARC Plus utilities.
These utilities are available to both BestMARC Plus and Global users.
Contact
If you would like to, click on the Contact tab and fill out all of BestMARC's contact information. Be sure to click Save in the upper right-hand corner when you're done. This will make it easier for you and your staff to contact BestMARC Customer Support if you have questions in the future.
