Do you ever have patrons returning books that belong to other sites? Set up a preference to alert you when this happens.

To set the preference:

Open Preferences and click on the Circulation category.
Go to the Circulation Rules tab.
Change the Alert for Copies from Different Sites drop-down menu to During Check In and Inventory to have alerts appear only during check in and inventory.
Change the Alert for Copies from Different Sites drop-down menu to During Check In, Renewal, and Inventory to have alerts appear during check in, inventory, and renewals. The Renewal alert may be useful if the item belonging to the other site should be returned rather than renewed.
Change the Alert for Copies from Different Sites drop-down menu to Always to be alerted whenever an item that doesn’t belong in your library is scanned. This applies also to making the item current in Circulation.
Save the preference.

Now you will be alerted.
